TRC’s philanthropic campaign focuses on erasing the visible signs of a troubled past. Through CAFC, TRC offers free laser tattoo removal to ex-gang members, troubled youth and ex-convicts in an effort to help them return to a life of normalcy. The program is part of a continued effort to provide the community with an inexpensive alternative for laser tattoo removal. Founders of the TRC Dr. Thomas Simerson and Cynthia Moore, R.N. have been involved in similar tattoo removal programs since 2002.

CAFC is unique in that it allows participants give back to their local communities and/or mentor youth that may be undergoing issues they may understand on a personal level. In order to be eligible for the free treatment, participants must volunteer their time at preselected community outreach programs. These programs will ensure those in need will continue to improve the lives of themselves and their peers. In addition, eligible tattoos must be gang related and visible on the arms, neck, and head.
